How APEXX Strategic Wealth Management, Inc. came to be:

Michael Wentland is the sole owner of APEXX Strategic Wealth Management, Inc. which began as a result of Mike wanting to expand offerings to both his individual and business clients.  Mike's history with the financial services industry started with his internships with PiperJaffray in St. Cloud, MN & Appleton, WI during his college years.  Before Mike graduated from college, he was hired by PaineWebber in Milwaukee, WI where he began to build his customer relationships.  During those PaineWebber years Mike frequently visited his parents Daniel & Jean Wentland in Mauston, WI.  In doing so, Mike became a member of the Mauston Chamber of Commerce and soon was approached by M&I Bank and their brokerage department to take over a book of business from their previous investment advisor who had retired.  To be closer to family, Mike accepted the offer and moved to Mauston, WI to begin working for M&I Brokerage.  Soon a second M&I investment advisor retired and Mike overtook that book of business as well.  Mike's relationship with M&I lasted for about six years, growing that book of business to almost $80million dollars in assets under management.  Mike was the number one producing Investment Representative with M&I Brokerage for consecutive years.  Then in September of 2006, APEXX Strategic Wealth Management, Inc was born - with an expanded product line (none being proprietary).  Mike welcomes working with all of his customers from his previous years, as well as new customers and referrals.  The bulk of Mike's clients reside in Wisconsin, but there are clients everywhere ranging from Las Vegas to Canada, and even overseas.  Looking forward to you becoming one as well!  (608) 254-6600
